Te Puna Mauri O Oamaru – Ruawai Solar Farm (Northpower)

Partnering with Northpower to deliver the mechanical and module installation for the Ruawai Solar Farm was an exciting new project for North Drill. The 20-hectare development will provide clean energy to 3,000 Northland homes, enhancing the region’s energy supply and resilience.

Te Pūawaitanga – Waipapa Sports Hub

Leading Stage 1 of the ‘Te Puawaitange – Bay of Islands Sports Hub’ for FNDC, we transformed farmland into the foundation of a major recreational facility for Te Tai Tokerau. We delivered the infrastructure for five sports fields and a 10,000m2 car park, marking the beginning of this significant community project.

Ultra Fast Broadband (UFB2) Build​

We connected our communities to the world by delivering Northpower’s Fibre ultra-fast broadband roll-out across 14 towns, from Hikurangi to Wellsford. This 5-year project involved installing over 110km of ducting and was completed 12 months ahead of schedule.

Kaitaia Water Emergency Response Project

In an urgent response to prevent Kaitaia from running out of water in 10 days, we took on the challenge and successfully installed 42km of 2 x 25mm temporary water pipes across farmland, connecting to an iwi-owned bore in just 7 days.
